Materials

  • Different color construction paper
  • Color pencils
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Start by printing out the free surfboard craft template (scroll down for the download link!).
  2. Cut a large circle from blue construction paper to form the rocking base.
  3. Carefully cut out all the pieces from the printable: the surfer, surfboard, and wave shapes.
  4. Use colored pencils to decorate your surfer and board. You can follow the colors in our example photo or get creative with your own patterns!
  5. Fold the blue circle in half to make the rocking shape.
  6. Glue the waves to the bottom edge of the folded circle, then attach the surfboard on top, and finally glue the surfer standing on the board.
  7. Gently press everything into place and let dry.
