Have you heard of Dayre? It’s a new App facilitating blogging for busy people! It’s like a cross between social media and traditional blogging as you add multiple, bite-sized updates from your day and Dayre transforms it into your blog post for the day! The idea is to add a mixture of photos, text updates and stickers to create the story of your day.
I just downloaded Dayre last night and I am enjoying getting started on it so far. I have been selected as one of 30 UK bloggers who will be trying out this App as an Alpha-Seeder for the launch, so I will be getting really stuck in to using it over the next 6 weeks and beyond!
You can download Dayre for free from the App Store or Google Play Store. It would be great if some of you want to give it a try. Download it, and follow me!
My Dayre account is: http://dayre.me/intheplayroom
As you can see I’m lonely on there as I only just set it up, so please do join me! The lucky Alpha seeder with the most followers after 2-3 months will be winning a new iPhone 5s!
I’m liking the idea of Dayre so far. I have been using it just to update some of the little moments in my day but it will be great as a quick way to blog crafts, projects, or days out too, as you can just add a few quick photos and updates and ta-da! the post is done! I’m really looking forward to testing it out further and I can see this app becoming popular and joining the ranks of the must have social media for bloggers, so it is great to get in there as one of the first!
Have a look at the Dayre website to find out more, and follow them on social media:

I had looked at the app but I dont have iphone to use the app.
you can use it on android phones or on your ipad!
It looks interesting, but unless I am really poorly I don’t tend to blog on the go, I prefer my laptop. I will have a look for the social media side of things though!
I prefer laptop too so wouldn’t see myself replacing blogging with it but for the social media side as an extra, it is cool!
It sounds interesting, but I’m not sure I want my blog to be that unstructured.
It looks like fun. I just wonder if I can fit in any more time for blogging.
It’s interesting – it’ll be good to see how you get on with it 🙂
sounds interesting, but not sure my phone would cope as it doesn’t even like making phone calls!! might have to pop over and see though as I do need to find a better way than sitting at a PC most days…
Sounds interesting, but I have to agree with the others really, I struggle to keep up with everything as it is, one more thing ….. not sure. Will have a look when I have a quiet moment
I also agree it sounds interesting but struggle to keep up already as it is, will be interesting to see how you do with it
This sounds interesting. I look forward to hearing more about it.
Would like to see if it takes off – I’m just about getting the hang of all the other social media sites – don’t know if I can face another one just yet! Have fun!
I’m going to have to have a look at that!
Will definitely take a look at see what it’s all about. I am a laptop blogger too but maybe useful for quick updates or holidays. I do tend to use instagram for a quick update on the go. Will be interesting to see how it works
This sounds like quite an interesting new app! May have to take a further look into it 🙂 xo
great isn’t it! 🙂 x
Interesting and another evolutionary step for us bloggers. Might take me a bit of time to get my head round blogging on the go!
Sounds good but I generally edit my photos so much I don’t think it would help me. I might give it a trial though.
This sounds interesting – I will nip across and have a look at it over the weekend. Thanks for linking to PoCoLo x
It sounds like it would add a sort of scrap book effect of moments? Nice idea.
Looking forward to seeing how you get on with this
Thank you for linking up with the Weekend Blog Hop

Sounds like an interesting idea. I’m not sure I’d use it, I tend to blog from my laptop because my fat fingers make too many spellings mistakes trying to use a phone!
An interesting idea. I’m not sure that I’d use it though. I do most of my blogging on the laptop because my fat fingers make too many spelling mistakes trying to type on the phone!
A great idea, but I still have a blackberry so no app. I could download on my i pod to have a look but I edit photos so much it would have to work as a sort of draft for my actual blog.
