If you, or your girls, are dressing up for Halloween this year and want a look that’s monster – but not too scary or gross, then Mavis’ Monster Glam is a great solution for you!
If you’ve watched the Hotel Transylvania movies (Hotel Transylvania 2 is out now!) , then you can’t help but like Mavis – the glamorous daughter of the famous vampire, Count Dracula. Mavis is a vampire too, but she just happens to be married to a human and has the cutest curly ginger haired little boy ever!
Here’s how to get her look in 8 easy steps!
Step 1. Using a light foundation or powder, dust your face with one shade lighter than usual to acheive a vampire pale complexion.
Step 2. Cover your eye lids from crease to lash line with black eye shadow, sweeping the colour from the inner corner of your eyes to the end of your lash line.
Step 3. Take that same black eye shadow and lightly smudge a thin line under your lower lash line as well to create depth.
Step 4. Take a black eye liner and line your entire eyes, including your inner water lines.
Step 5. Go to town with mascara, creating Mavis worthy full lashes
Step 6. Sweep a dark purple or black lipstick over your lips, and then cover with a clear gloss to add some shine.
Step 7. Using a dark black or brown eyebrow pencil, fill in your brows.
Step 8. Get some fake plastic fangs and voila! Mavis Dracula, is that you?
