Coco Wyo Coloring Books

Coco Wyo books are some of the most popular in the coloring community lately. I discovered them on TikTok a few months ago, and since then my collection just keeps growing!

I have been sharing many of my finished coloring pages over on my Pinterest page which have been getting a tonne of re-pins and clicks so I thought why not write a blog post to answer some of the most commonly asked questions.

I’ll also be sharing some posts with my coloring pages from other popular books, and if you want to see my mostly recently colored pages, I normally upload them to Pinterest first as well as sharing in some of the coloring Facebook groups.

What are Coco Wyo Coloring Books?

Coco Wyo is a brand of coloring books that are popular with adults who love to color. But rather than the super detailed coloring pages that were trending a few years ago, these coloring books have pictures that are more cutesy and also have bigger spaces to color, giving you more opportunity to add your own patterns and details.

Coco Wyo is not one person, it’s a company. Some people have the idea that it’s just one girl named Coco, but that’s not the case.

How Many Coco Wyo Coloring Books are There?

There are currently 2 new books set to release in the next month which are Cozy Cuties and Cozy Corner.

This is not the full list of Coco Wyo coloring books! There are more, and also a bunch in the older style but the ones above are the ones I see people coloring more often.

Personally, if you want to pick just a couple I would say get Girl Moments, Cozy Friends and Little Corner. That way you have a good mix of things to color – but everyone’s preference is different.

Are Coco Wyo Coloring Books All the Same Style?

No. There are the cute and comfy style, which is what most of the more popular books are and what I personally prefer.

Then you also have the books which are labelled bold and easy, which have slightly less detailed scenes and are more simple. These are less likely to have an outline around the picture.

There is also the old style of books which are not square, and are a rectangle shape. These tend to have thinner lines and some of them are more like the old style of adult coloring. We do have the Tiny Cats book which is the old style, because my daughter really loves cats – otherwise I prefer the newer ones.

Are Coco Wyo Coloring Books Good for Kids?

Yep! After I started getting into this coloring hobby, I’ve ended up buying Coco Wyo books for our daughters and my niece, because as soon as kids see these they are instantly interested and want to get involved.

Especially if you have girls around 6 or 7 upwards, they can get a lot out of these books. The girls I’ve got these books for are 7 and 8 years old and they all really enjoy them.

As I mentioned, these are super popular in the adult coloring community so there is no upper age limit on them.

What Supplies Should I Use for Coco Wyo Coloring Books?

Like most people, I prefer to color with alcohol markers. You can use anything you like, but the majority of coloring pictures you’re seeing on social media, TikTok etc are probably done with alcohol markers and maybe some acrylic paint markers for the details.

You will also want to get some white gel pens for adding details and highlights.

The most popular white gel pens are the white jelly roll or the uniball signo. I prefer the Uniball, it flows way more but you can work with either.

For the acrylic markers, I would recommend the shuttle art brush tip acrylic markers. I love Ohuhu for alcohol markers, but for the acrylics I had a much easier time with the Shuttle Art.

Where to Buy Coco Wyo Coloring Books?

The best place is Amazon – if you buy from places like SHEIN there is a chance that you’re getting fakes.

When buying on Amazon you also want to check, because a lot of people make books with similar looking covers and titles to hop on the trend, but you don’t know what the quality of these is going to be like on the inside.
