This year, Care Bears are celebrating 40 years of caring and it’s fantastic to see my daughter enjoying these cute and caring bears just as much as I did as a child in the 80s and 90s.
To celebrate the anniversary, and #ShareYourCareDay which is coming up this week, N has been looking after her brand new care bear named Care-A-Lot Bear.

Care-a-Lot is a Limited edition Care Bear designed specifically for the Care Bears’ 40th anniversary, and this new care bear has been N’s constant companion all through summer, joining her on all kind of fun summer adventures with her friends and family.
The new Care-a-Lot Bear is 14 inches in size and has beautiful, sparkly, multi-coloured fur which N absolutely loves, the sparkles really make this bear look appealing and gorgeous.
Like all Care Bears, she’s also super-soft, perfect for unlimited bear hugs with her new best friends.
Care-A-Lot is the very first bear to hail from the magical kingdom of Care-a-Lot and is excited to share her message of kindness and love with everyone!
She wears a fun and magical new belly badge depicting the kingdom of Care-a-Lot illuminated by a lovely rainbow.

N really loves the castle belly badge, along with other cute details like the heart shaped metallic nose.
Care-A-Lot bear’s mission is to spread love and kindness to everyone she meets as we celebrate 4 DECADES of sharing and caring! What a great message for our kids, and something that is ideal for kids of all ages to take to heart.
N has been watching the old Care Bear movies with me lately as well as playing with her new Care Bears, and she really enjoyed the positive messages about friendship, love, kindness and caring and is really motivated to do her part to spread caring and kindness all around.

This limited-edition Care Bear is highly collectible and comes with a certificate of authenticity to make your friendship official!

You can find Care-A-Lot bear and her care bear friends at shops including Smyths, ToyMaster, House of Fraser and John Lewis.

I feel old knowing Care Bears have been around for 40 years. I had a few when I was about N’s age. It sounds like she is a big fan. x
