Back to School time is nearly here again, or if you’re in Scotland then perhaps your kids have gone back already! I’ve been making a start on getting everything ready for my boys new school year. They’ll be going back in September in years 1, 2 and 4 this year! To help us out with our back to school preparations, Tesco sent us some of their F&F school uniform to try out.

F&F BTS 2016 PRODUCT

Tesco’s F&F has a huge range of affordable school wear options, from uniform and sports kit to footwear and stationery, so you can stock up on everything back to school in one place. F&F offers high- quality and great value in every item, starting from just £2.50

I have used F&F uniform in previous years too, and always found that it fits well, washes and wears well and looks nice and smart.

Here are Z & R in their school uniforms, ready for next year. As you can see, our infant school jumper is not a particularly common colour and I can’t often find it in all of the supermarkets, so I’m always glad that Tesco do stock those.

The F&F jumpers come with ‘As New Technology’ to prevent them from fading in the wash or looking worn out after a term or so! The bobble free material and ‘stain resistant’ fabrics promise to keep uniforms looking newer for longer. 100% cotton and cotton rich blends ensure shirts are breathable and soft on the skin. I do always find the feel of the Tesco uniforms nice and soft, and my kids always feel comfortable wearing them.

They also have a good choice of school shoes available, in different styles from the smarter slip on ones to the practical velcro ones, and with a very reasonable price tag.

We’re yet to move up to the secondary school level, but they do also stock uniform like blazers which you might need at that time.

F&F BLACK BLAZER £10, 2PK BOYS LS EASYCARE WHITE SHIRTS £3.50, BOYS BLACK SLIM LEG FLAT FRONT TROUSER £4, OB LACE UP LEATHER £10

The Uniform Embroidery Service is fast and easy, choose from a wide range of products to personalise with your school emblem. The service offers school approved emblems, embroidered in the UK and delivered within 28 days. A 5% cash donation of all sales goes back to the pupil’s school. More than £625,000 has been donated to schools so far.

In addition to donating money back to your child’s school via the Uniform Embroidery Service, F&F’s pioneering ‘Buy One, We Donate One’ scheme has successfully donated more than 350,000 whole new uniforms since 2009. When UK customers purchase from the Buy One, We Donate One selected range F&F donates an entire school uniform to a child in Kenya, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka. F&F ensures that both the product being purchased by Tesco customers and the free garments given are made in the respective countries, bringing additional trade as well as free school uniforms to these regions. This is a great idea, and such an easy way to help others, while getting the school uniforms that you need to buy anyway!

The Back to School range is available in more than 650 stores nationwide. The collection is available to buy online at Tesco.com or by using the convenience of the Click ‘n’ Collect service.
