Thomas & Friends have another new movie steaming into cinemas, for a limited time only!
We went along to the premiere of Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure recently, along with over 1000 other Thomas fans including celebrities Sophie Ellis Bexter (below) and Stacey Solomon.
During the movie, my boys were gripped by Thomas’ latest adventure. The story includes a sneaky pirate who wants to steal the treasure that has been recently uncovered on Sodor, and sees Thomas getting into a spot of bother as usual – but ultimately saving the day!
At just one hour long, Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure makes the ideal choice for your little one’s cinema visit. If they are a Thomas fan, then it’s pretty likely they will sit gripped the whole way through the movie, making their first trip go really smoothly.
The movie includes the favourite classic characters like Thomas, Gordon and the Fat Controller but introduces new characters including Sailor John, and Skiff. I really liked Skiff, for being a very original kind of train. He’s a sailing boat that can ride on the rails – pretty cool and different! My boys loved the characters of Sailor John and Skiff since they found them funny, even though Sailor John ends up being a baddie (Sorry for the spoiler!)
The movie also includes some catchy new Thomas & Friends tunes including “We Make a Team Together” which break up the story, and children will enjoy singing along to them after watching.
