How to Make a Handprint Christmas Tree

How to make a Christmas tree handprint craft

Turn your child’s handprint into the cutest mini Christmas tree with this quick and colourful craft that kids of all ages will love.

Materials

  • Construction paper in different colors
  • Pencil
  • Marker
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Tools

  • Printer if using template

Instructions

  1. Make a handprint in green paper and cut it out. Draw around your child's hand using a pencil, or use the template.
  2. Cut a rectangle shape from the brown paper. This will be the trunk of the Christmas tree.
  3. Attach the handprint on top of the brown rectangle.
  4. Cut out the star from the template
  5. Attach the star at the top.
  6. Cut small lights in different colors of construction paper.
  7. Attach these to the handprint then connect them into a string of lights using a marker.
  8. Your handprint christmas tree is done!
