Materials
- 2 mini bagels
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 1 cup birdseed
- 4 – 10 inch pieces of twine
Tools
- Scissors
Instructions
- Preparation: Start by gathering all of your supplies.
You will need about 1 cup of birdseed in a bowl. This will be the exterior of your bird feeders, so ensure the bowl is wide enough to fit the bagel halves.
- Slice the Bagels: Take the mini bagels and slice each into two halves. This way, each bagel can make two bird feeders.

- Apply Peanut Butter: Now it's time for a bit of messy fun! Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on the cut side of each bagel half. Make sure to cover the whole surface as this acts as the glue for our birdseed.

- Add Birdseed: Once your bagel halves are peanut butter coated, set each half, peanut butter side down, into the bowl of birdseed. Gently press down to ensure the birdseed sticks to the peanut butter.

- String the Bagels: After the bagel halves are covered in birdseed,
thread a piece of twine through the hole in the middle of each bagel. Tie the ends of the twine in a secure double knot. This will allow you to hang the feeders from a tree branch.
- Hang and Observe: Once the two bagel bird feeders are ready, you're ready to go outside and hang them up. You will have two mini bagel bird feeders looking like this
