Adaptations

Some people prefer to use cream cheese as the base topping instead of the greek yoghurt.

Some people like to drizzle a little chocolate or honey over the top. Give it a try, and see which way you prefer.

You can also add chopped strawberries, chopped kiwi, chopped pineapple.. there are all kinds of fruity toppings to mix and match this summer.

How to Cut Watermelon

To slice the watermelon into perfect triangles for your watermelon pizza slices, you are going to want to cut big thick wedges, of equal sizes.

The part closest to the middle of the watermelon is best for this, so cut off the ends and keep those for later.

This guide to slicing watermelon is helpful if you need a step by step.

Don’t cut your watermelon too far in advance, for maximum freshness and juiciness but if you do need to prepare the slices added of time then wrap your tray with cling film / Saran Wrap to keep it fresh.
