This Gingerbread Man Paint Stamping activity is a super easy Gingerbread Man craft for toddlers but can be used with kids of all ages.
All you need are a few basic craft supplies that you probably already have around the house and children can get creative printing and designing their own gingerbread man family for a fun and simple festive activity.

Supplies for Gingerbread Man Stamping Paint Activity
There are only three essential basic supplies you need for this craft and then you can improvise with whatever craft bits and pieces you have around the house.
You will need
- Gingerbread Man Cookie Cutter
- Paper
- Paint
We also used a paper plate to hold the paint, and you will need glue to stick your choice of decorations.
We used black paper to make the Gingerbread Man print stand out nicely. N’s favorite colour is blue so she chose that, otherwise you might want to go with brown or red or orange for a more gingery colour – or go crazy and make a whole rainbow gingerbread family.

How to do Gingerbread Man Paint Stamping
All you need to do is press down with the cookie cutter firmly onto the paint and then stamp onto your paper.
This is really easy, it is a great craft for toddlers and younger children as they can get great results very easily.
Young kids feel great when they complete this craft independently and create a recognisable gingerbread shape that they can decorate.
Because this activity is so simple and takes only minimal supplies it’s also a good one to set up for an arts and crafts table if you are running toddler groups or playgroups.
