Looking for good quality ideas for Christmas presents, and want to select something with developmental benefits that your child will get a lot out of all year round? The Good Toy Guide is a great resource, and now they have brought out this years 2019 Christmas Good Toy Guide.

The guide is brought to you by the independent experts at Fundamentally Children, and aims to help you find the perfect toy for your child. The Christmas Good Toy Guide includes over 50 #GoodToys, all tested by children and endorsed by experts, so you know it’s a review you can trust.

The guide is available as a paper catalogue, or online via the website, and we have been having a little browse…

In addition to the paper catalogue seen above, you can also check out this years Christmas Good Toy Guide online at their website www.christmasgoodtoyguide.com, which is really user friendly and easy to browse the age categories you can see below. If you want to think outside of the box this year, you could also check out their suggestions of alternative gifts which has some brilliant ideas.

The guide includes some tips and tricks, like budgeting ideas and a pull out letter to Santa, as well as lots and lots of great toy ideas for kids of all ages, from babies up til tweens of 9 years and over so you can quickly find what you need. From babies to tweens, scooters to family board games, there’s something
for everyone.

There are some brilliant toys featured,  with mentions of their developmental benefits and ratings for fun, skills and ease of use to allow you to focus on what’s most important to you.

I love the look of these Magicube River Animals in the younger children section. We have some other Magicube sets, and they are such a  great toy as they incorporate building, picture matching puzzle skills, magnetism, and are so easy and fun to use.

I also enjoyed checking out the 9+ suggestions, as this age is not always the easiest to buy for especially in the age of video games, but the Good Toy Guide has some brilliant creative and educational suggestions to keep them busy, for example making slime with the Nickelodeon Experimake Chemistry Chaos set, or a gift they can enjoy all year round with the First News subscription.
