We were sent a selection of the Power Rangers Dino Charge toys for review including:

Power Rangers Dino Charge Morpher

This Dino Charge morpher works with the dino charge batteries, to produce different sound effects. Two come with the morpher, and you can buy more separately to collect them all. When placing each one into the dino charge morpher, it will lock and load and then make the sounds from the TV show. The toy does make sounds without any loaded into it too, but the batteries unlock extra exclusive sounds.

It also works with the free Power Rangers ‘Dino Charger’ Scanner app, which you can download from the App Store / Google Play and scan your charger collection to Morph yourself into your favourite rangers and battle!

Green Ranger Figure

This is one of the many small power ranger figures available, it comes with weapons and articulated limbs and is suitable for age 4+. R loves figures like this and was so pleased to add the green ranger to his collection. I find this type of figure great since they are small and take up very little space, and are handy to travel with but offer so much play and imagination.

We were also sent some copies of the Power Rangers magazine which comes with a free gift in every issue, and lots of stories, colouring and puzzles – great for any little Power Rangers fan!

The boys have all been enjoying playing with the toys and are looking forward to the series.

To celebrate the launch, Power Rangers Dino Charge will be going on tour this Summer.

The first stop will be CarFest North in Cheshire from 31st July – 2nd August. The Dino Charge Experience will come to life under a giant red inflatable at this family festival. There will be a hub of activities for kids of all ages, including arts and crafts, a Ranger Training area and a Dino cinema where kids can see the first episode before it airs on TV. There’s even a Dino Charge photobooth so kids can take a memento home with them. Dino Charge will be back again at CarFest South in Laverstoke to relive the fun from 28th – 30th August! Next, it’s on to the ToyTesters.TV week-long tour which kicks off on 3rd August at 3 Hamleys stores – Glasgow, Manchester and Regents Street, London. Kids will be able to test out and then rate the brand new Dino Charge Megazord and Morpher. There’ll be lots of opportunities to win some amazing goodies too! Power Rangers are reaching new heights as they take to the sky in 2 awesome hot air balloons styled as the Power Rangers helmets at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta from 7th -9th August.
