I have used Photobox many times over the years, to make photobooks to remember special moments from way back even before we had the kids, for weddings and holiday photos! I always find the site easy to use and very reliable, and the books are always of a great quality which is why I have gone back to them time and time again
When I was given some credit to chose some items to review, I decided to get a photobook and some of their other photo products that I had not tried before.
I went for a minibook as I had not tried one of these before and they look so cute. Being so small, they are ideal for pictures from your phone or instagram, where the quality may not be so high to look good in a really large photobook. I decided to put some collages in too, which I had made for my blog. The pages are big enough that you can see the individual pictures in the collages so it does look good. I am really pleased with the result and this is such a bargain photobook at only £5.99 for 32 pages. The size is 9.0cm x 7.0cm and you can choose between 5 colours. It easily fits in your bag if you want to take your favourite photos out with you.
I also decided to try a snow globe, as I have always liked these since I was little, its such a simple yet magical effect to shake the globe and see the snow fluttering down. The boys were quite mesmerised by it too! This snow globe is really well made and the picture can be seen through very well, it looks great! Perhaps I actually should have chosen a more wintery pic of the kids, to make it more atmospheric – but I liked this one as I took it recently and they are all looking the right way and smiling, which is not always that easy to achieve with 3 active kids!! These picture snow globes would make a great gift and be lovely on a shelf in a child’s bedroom. They are 9.99 and you can choose between love hearts or snow.
The next new item I decided to try was an Aluminium photo panel. There are quite a few options now on Photobox like having the photos printed on Aluminium or wood panels, and I was quite intrigued to try it out as I had never seen these anywhere. I had Mr T’s school photos from nursery, which we bought only on CD and had not yet got any prints done so I thought this would be a perfect chance to try it out. With the Aluminium panel you don’t need any frame, as it is printed directly on to the metal and you can stand it up as it is. It is a really modern effect and pretty cool! The metal is very slim, and has a high gloss coating and is scratch resistant. It shows his photo off beautifully, and I would definitely try these again in the future. I got the 7×5 size which is £15.99 and you can get larger sizes, either in rectangular, square or panoramic.
I still have some more credit to spend on Photobox and I will probably get an A4 classic collage book, I love the covers of these – It looks very funky!
If you have some photos that deserve some love, either being preserved into a photobook or turned into a gift, print or canvas, then come and enter as Photobox have kindly provided me with £40 worth of credit to give to one lucky reader!

I would use it to buy personalised calendars, we have done this before as family presents as they cant bare to take them down, years after we handed them out. We theme the photos all year – so sunny lolly shots, Halloween scary, Christmas / fluffy farm lambs etc all with the children doing funky poses of course. 😉
These make excellent gifts, Photobox is a really innovative idea. 🙂
