In The Night Garden Baby Toys Review

Golden Bear have launched In The Night Garden Baby, an enchanting new nursery toy range based on the much-loved CBeebies show, In The Night Garden. We were sent a couple of toys from the new range for Baby N to try out; the Upsy Daisy Grabber Rattle (RRP £4.99) and the Makka Pakka Soft Toy (RRP £9.99)

In the range, there are also baby comfort blankets and chime toys as well as the grabber rattle and soft toy, and each toy comes in a choice of characters – from Upsy Daisy to Iggle Piggle, or Makka Pakka.

I really like how soft all of these toys are. Both the rattle and soft toy are made from lovely soft materials which are perfect for young babies to handle. Baby N is 3 months old, and these toys are suitable from newborn up to around 18 months old.

Both toys are a good size for her to handle. I was pleased that she’s able to hold on to Makka Pakka by herself and give it a snuggle – although she usually tries to eat him too! She has started teething so she does like to chew and bite whatever she can get her hands on at the moment, with Makka Pakka being one of her favourites.

The grabber rattle toy is smaller, and has Upsy Daisy’s recognisable face on the top with the round grabber rattle made from her dress fabric. N is always captivated by toys with smiley faces on them, so she enjoys looking at Upsy Daisy and really focuses on this toy when I shake the rattle for her.

N is still not quite able to fully grab this rattle and shake it herself, although she is trying (I put it in her hand and help her) but she still enjoys it a lot as I shake it for her, or when placed on her mat she will turn herself to look at Upsy Daisy’s face.

The toys in this range are really recognisable as the In The Night Garden characters. We haven’t introduced the TV show yet, but her big brothers used to watch it as babies, and I will introduce her to it when she is a bit older. I’m sure she will enjoy that as she will recognise her toys in the show!

If you have toddlers who are into In The Night Garden, this range would be really nice for them to be able to give to their new sibling as a present.

The toys are well made and good quality and we would recommend them as baby N is getting plenty of playtime out of hers!

We were sent the toys in order to review
