To celebrate Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday, we’ve been looking at the new book, The Gloriumptious Worlds of Roald Dahl, and have one copy to give away to a lucky reader too!
The Gloriumptious Worlds of Roald Dahl book is authorised by The Roald Dahl Estate and features illustrations by Quentin Blake along with back stories, fact and fun details behind Roald Dahl classics.
This is a lovely book for Roald Dahl fans all of ages, and for my kids I found it has a good mix of stories that they recognise and have already read, and other Roald Dahl books that they haven’t read yet, to give them ideas of which story they might like to choose next – as they get a taste of the characters and themes of each one.
The book is quite unusual and different from other we have, and is a good one to just pick up and browse rather than needing to read it from start to finish. It has plenty of pictures and the text is presented in interesting formats like newspaper articles, or even recipes, so it grabs kids interest and would be good for reluctant readers to dip into too – then if it inspires them to read even more Roald Dahl books it’s definitely going to be a win-win!
The Gloriumptious Worlds of Roald Dahl is the perfect keepsake for Dahl enthusiasts and new fans alike.
Priced at £16.99 the new title will be available to buy from 11th August 2016 from all good bookshops and online stores, as well as from www.carltonbooks.co.uk
SPECIAL OFFER: There’s currently 10.00 off the book on Amazon! (better than half price!)
