We’re DryNites® Ambassadors

This year, we’re happy to be working with Huggies as DryNites® ambassadors. Throughout the year, I’ll be sharing blog posts and videos dealing with the bedwetting stage, and building your child’s confidence.

Although you might not hear many parents opening up about bedwetting, it is a really common and normal stage that many children go through. At the age of four, bedwetting affects 1 in 4 children (that’s more than 900,000 children and young people in the UK!)

Together with DryNites® I hope to share useful tools and information to help other parents who are going through this stage.

I have a 4 year old, 6 year old and almost 8 year old. So I’ve been through the bedwetting and night time training stage in the past, and am still right in the middle of this stage with my youngest kids. Each time, we’ve always found DryNites® pyjama pants to be a really useful product to help us on our journey.

I never want my children to feel bad about something that’s a normal developmental stage, and out of their control. An age appropriate product like DryNites® pyjama pants is great as it allows them to sleep comfortably, and wake up in a dry bed, but without babying them by putting them into nappies. We call them night time pants, and don’t make a big deal about them – I just keep them available with the pyjamas in their room.

DryNites® pyjama pants offer discreet protection for children to help them feel grown-up throughout this stage, and they now feature new age-appropriate Disney© and Marvel graphics. The Spider-Man design has definitely gone down well with my little 4 year old super hero enthusiast!

DryNites® pyjama pants are super absorbent for a growing child, as they are designed specifically for children of this age group – we use the 4-7 year old packs, but you can also get the next size up if needed. They offer products for children up to 15 years old.

The stretchy sides make them easy to take on and off for a real underwear-like fit, which is important too as if your child does wake up to use the toilet during the night, you don’t want them to have any difficulties or obstacles with their clothing.

Over the course of the year, we’ll be sharing our ConfidentNites® journey with you. If you’re going through the same stage, I’d love to hear how you get on too – and of course look out for blog posts from the other Huggies DryNites ambassadors too, as there are 10 of us!

  1. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for your advice. My little one is nearly 3 and I have no idea how to even start potty training at night! She is ok at home during the day (as long as she’s naked!) but refuses to wear pants 🙁 7 out of 10 times she’ll be dry over night but she still wears a pull up for bed as she won’t go to bed without one
