As a stay at home mum to three active boys, most of my days are spent running around after them, taking them to school and sports clubs, helping with home work, preparing meals and of course spending lots of time playing and chatting with them too. Although I love spending time with the kids, a day off with a chance to recharge and spend time child-free with my sister or friends is always welcome, and very relaxing!
Crocs sent me a couple of pairs of their new range of shoes and challenged me to take part in my own “Mom’s Day Off” just like in their latest campaign video. I was really impressed with the new crocs, they are so comfy just as you would expect from the Crocs brand, but also pretty stylish with so many different styles that work well for all kinds of occasions like a busy day shopping, or a lazy day by the pool or beach.
When I thought of a “Moms day off”, straight away I knew I’d like to spend my day with my sister. I have a twin sister who moved out of town, so we don’t get to spend as much time together as we used to, and lots of our time together is with the kids in tow. Still, whenever we have the chance to catch up there are always lots of laughs and a good time had by both of us.
As I mentioned, my sister has recently moved and she had been really keen to show me around her new home town, especially since she has bought a beautiful flat by the river with lovely views and some beautiful places to sit and have lunch together.
Of course, we also had to do a bit of shopping! I love how comfy the crocs shoes are for shopping trips, but yet still make you feel a little more dressed up and well presented compared to just throwing on your trainers (like I normally do!)
We had been talking about going together and get a manicure and pedicure too but we didn’t get chance this time, we were too busy chatting and relaxing and the day went by so quickly! All that means is that we’ll have to take another Moms day off together again soon!
