I like to choose items that will be ideal for our holidays, but will also get plenty of use afterwards throughout the Spring and Summer season.
I’ve been browsing House of Fraser for some summer holiday outfits for the boys, and here are some of the clothes and outfit ideas that caught my eye.
Of course swimwear is a must, as they always enjoy spending plenty of time in the pool, or in the sea, wherever we go. Although I normally buy them the regular swimming shorts, I do like the look of the UPF50+ swimwear, which would definitely be a good idea if we go to a hotter country. (We are thinking about taking them to Sri Lanka soon, and also to the Middle East – Dubai or Jordan)
I also always like to get them some new summer shorts and t-shirts, but since the Easter holidays are so early this year and the weather isn’t quite warm enough yet, I’ll have to get a few warmer bits too like new trousers and long sleeved t-shirts. I’m hoping it’ll be much warmer by the time we go away in May!
Buying a few items that mix and match with each other well is always a good idea, so that you can create a summer holidays capsule wardrobe and make a few different looks and outfits, using combinations of the same items.
