  13. The downstairs toilet. We bought a house last year (a fixer upper) and ran out of money so this is the last wee job that still needs to be done. When it’s complete I can sit back and relax and just enjoy my home.

  23. My bathroom. I’ve recently moved house and the main bathroom is quite dated. We are fortunate to have an en-suite with a shower cubicle which my husband prefers. Never bathes only showers. This means I can make over the other bathroom totally ‘girly’. I’m planning a free standing bath with candles etc. New tiles added will make it complete.

  24. I need to retile the bathroom.

The shower enclosure needs replacing due to mould and poor design that makes it really difficult to keep clean where the doors slide.

Because of the way the tiles were cut the enclosure attaches to a plasterboard wall and where the grouting/sealant has come loose it is damaging the wall.

It seems the builders took every shortcut possible, anything to save even a few pence such as no stop valves on pipes to sinks and toilets.

I can’t get the same tiles so I will need to retile when I replace the shower.

  27. My bathroom needs re-tiling and so does my kitchen! I haven’t updated the bathroom (other than paint) since we moved in 7 years ago, many of the tiles are cracked and I’m sure that it’s exactly the same as it was when the house was built!
