“Family Fayre” at Brewers Fayre this February

Brewers Fayre is an ideal place to eat out as a family, with plenty of food options for all ages and great value on offer. We’ve been along to our local Brewers Fayre in Watford a few times, and visited again recently to enjoy a family meal and so that we could tell you about what’s coming up at Brewers Fayre over the next few weeks.

We always enjoy our meal at Brewer’s Fayre. The restaurant is very spacious and family friendly, and they make you feel so welcome. The kids are happy there and kept entertained with their colouring and activity sheets, so we can easily relax and enjoy the meal together. In our local Brewer’s Fayre food is always served quickly, we’ve never been kept waiting, and they have a convenient system where you can either pay upfront when ordering, or keep a “tab” to add more items later (Such as extra drinks, desert etc) and then pay at the end – whichever suits you better.

For our family of 5, we’re able to get all of our meals, including drinks and desserts, for around £50. If you make use of the daytime value offers, then I’m sure it would come to even less!

Although Brewers Fayre have a mixture of cuisines from around the world too, it’s nice to be able to get the traditional things like fish pie and apple crumble and custard for dessert as you don’t see that everywhere, so I would normally go for that or one of the vegetarian pasta options. They also have a grill menu, and the daily specials (details below)

The kids are happy with their options too, with the typical fish bites and chicken poppers available but there are others too, like spaghetti or sausages, making the kids menu a little wider than some other places.  They also love the desert options you can get with the kids meals, including chocolate donuts, and chocolate sundaes

February Half Term

In selected Brewers Fayre restaurants there are kids soft play areas. These have been recently refurbished and are Beano themed. Mum and Dad can enjoy a well deserved rest while the little ones tire themselves out on the soft play. When they do arrive back at the table, they can get creative, solving puzzles and colouring characters, with the special half term Beano activity sheets. Each child will leave with a Beano balloon too!

For extra entertainment during Half Term, Brewers Fayre will be featuring fun discos on both Friday 19th and Saturday 20th February at selected Brewers Fayres. The Toddlers disco will run from 9.30am – 3pm while the Kids will run from 3.30- 7.30pm at a cost of £3 per child.*

Daytime Value Offer

The Daytime Value offer runs from 12 – 6pm Monday to Friday and means guests can enjoy two starters for £2.50, two mains for just £10.99* and two desserts for £2.50, so eating out doesn’t have to be limited to special occasions.

Daily Offers

As variety is the spice of life, at Brewers Fayre you can enjoy a different feast every night of the week from 5- 8pm at the Chef’s Counter. You can try Pizza Parlour on a Monday or Burgers & Hotdogs on a Wednesday. For something with a bit more spice, why not take a trip around the world with a visit to Viva Mexico on Tuesday or Curry Night on a Thursday, and Saturday night is the Chicken buffet.

  1. The food looked good in your pictures, I haven’t been to a Brewers Fayre for many years because I though their standards had dropped a lot, maybe time to give them a go again,
