Fans of Peppa Pig will love the new book “Peppa’s Post” that comes complete with lots of real mail inside, from tickets to invitations and even paper hats and a secret message with a code wheel! Each double page spread comes complete with a large envelope that hides something exciting inside.

We’re taking part in the Ladybird books blog tour, where a few other bloggers and I are writing letters to each other, Peppa Pig style! We received a Christmas letter from The Reading Residence, and now it’s our turn to pass it on with a letter to Emmy’s Mummy and family.

We’re also giving you the chance to win a copy of the book for your own children. Look out for the giveaway widget at the end of this post to enter.

Peppa's Post

The book Peppa’s Post shows Peppa and George going along to see Mr Potato at the theatre, and then taking part in their own pantomime show. The story all follows along nicely so that the letters and various pieces of mail that are included mesh well with the story and add to the plot. Having the letter props really adds a fun interactive element to the book, that any young child would love! You can see that lots of thought and detail have gone in to designing the book like this.

Now for our letter to Emmy’s Mummy and family:

Dear Clare, Emmy, Harry and all of the “Emmy’s Mummy” family

I hope you’re all well and looking forward to Christmas. Have you got anything exciting planned? We’ll be having a relaxing Christmas at home, and I’m really looking forward to the Christmas break and having everyone around to spend time together with lots of board games, movie time, and Christmassy food!

At the moment, the kids are all getting ready for their school Christmas shows that are coming up in the next week or two. Z is playing Joseph this year so he has quite a few lines to learn, while T is going to be a dancing donkey and R is going to be a shepherd with just one line to learn. I’m looking forward to seeing them all perform – it’s always lovely to watch.

We’re busy getting ready for T’s birthday at the moment too, his party is next weekend and he’ll be having a pizza making party which I’m sure will be lots of fun.

Wishing you all a merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Love from

Anna and family
