The boys have been testing out a couple of new Hot Wheels sets: Hot Wheels Nitrobot Attack, and Hot Wheels Track Builder Volcano Blast.

Both of these sets are a lot of fun and have kept the boys busy, playing together with their Hot Wheels cars collection. They can be expanded and combined with our other Hot Wheel sets to extend the play over the entire play room.

Hot Wheels Nitrobot Attack and Track Builder Volcano Blast

Hot Wheels Nitrobot Attack

The Hot Wheels Nitrobot Attack set is themed about a nitrobot attacking the city, and attacking the cars. You can launch the cars from either side, or from the middle, by moving the launcher along the track

Hot Wheels Nitrobot Attack

If one of the cars hits the purple button in the middle of the Nitrobot, then you can defeat him and his head will fly off, which is pretty cool! The boys dad enjoyed playing this with them too – you never grow out of Hot Wheels!

The head splits into two pieces when it pops out, and easily can be placed back in

Hot Wheels Nitrobot Attack

The Nitrobot can lift up sections of the track, taking the cars with it, and on it’s own this is a smaller set so a good one to play without taking up much space, although still with lots of fun! You can use the Hot Wheels track system to combine it with other items.

The set comes with 1 Hot Wheels car, and of course all others are compatible too.

The Hot Wheels Nitrobot Attack set is available for around RRP 29.99, from all good toy shops including online at Amazon (currently half price!)

Hot Wheels Track Builder Volcano Blast

The Hot Wheels Track Builder Volcano Blast is a larger set, with four run ways leading up to the main volcano area, and there’s a track going through the bottom of the volcano too, with spooky eyes that open up when a car drives through to activate them.

To play with the set, you can load up to 8 cars at the top of the volcano (1 included in the box) and then watch them shoot out activating different stunts and effects in each of the four directions. The cars are released with a winder, and it doesn’t require batteries.

Each of the four tracks coming out of the volcano can be combined with other Hot Wheels tracks quite easily to expand the layout. You can then take them apart to store, although the main set is still quite big.

Hot Wheels Track Builder Volcano Blast is available from all good toy shops including online at Amazon for around RRP 37.99
