SSHH! Don’t Wake Dad! is a fun new game from Drumond Park. My boys have really enjoyed playing this game, and they love the concept behind it: sneaking around the game board to reach the chocolate cake in the fridge without waking up the snoring dad.
The game includes an electronic Dad and bed to go in the middle of the game board. Dad’s bed has an alarm clock and if you’re unlucky enough to land on a square without having the matching card then you will have to press the alarm clock a certain number of times. If Dad wakes up, then you’re sent back to the beginning of the game!
This was a lot of fun for my kids and they had a lot of giggles with this game. It was definitely a hit! Although the game is 5+, all three of my boys were able to play it well, and it was exciting enough to hold all of their attention perfectly throughout the game.
