SSHH! Don’t Wake Dad! is a fun new game from Drumond Park. My boys have really enjoyed playing this game, and they love the concept behind it: sneaking around the game board to reach the chocolate cake in the fridge without waking up the snoring dad.

The game includes an electronic Dad and bed to go in the middle of the game board. Dad’s bed has an alarm clock and if you’re unlucky enough to land on a square without having the matching card then you will have to press the alarm clock a certain number of times. If Dad wakes up, then you’re sent back to the beginning of the game!

Although the game is 5+, all three of my boys were able to play it well, and it was exciting enough to hold all of their attention perfectly throughout the game.

  1. This looks like fun,I’m a great believer in family games, perhaps it’s because I’m a Grandma but there wasn’t the same amount of electronic games, there were no mobile phones or iPads so children played games and were outside playing so much more than today. When I mange to get my grandchildren to play board games they love them.I hope this is one to add to our collection x

  3. I like these sort of games that keep you on the edge of your seat. I have to agree with another comment, it would be good if Dad was asleep on the sofa x

  5. My children will find it very funny – especially as their Dad works nights and they have to be a bit quieter at certain times of day 🙂
