There’s a new range of Dora and Friends toys and to show them off, Dora will be touring around selected Smyths Toys Superstores throughout the summer. You might have noticed the badge advertising this over on the side of my blog for the past couple of weeks.
If you have one of the stores near you, why not pop down to take part in the Dora and Friends fun. The tour is kicking off at our local Smyths in Watford this Monday and then makes it way North, and into Scotland. There will be a Dora sing a long booth that will be touring around, in which children can sing along with Dora to her songs as well as visit the costume character.

Twitter Frenzy

This 11.5″ Dora doll comes with signature outfit, and various accessories. Press the flower on her dress to hear phrases, sounds and a song from the TV show.
Dora & Friends Assorted Dolls – RRP 10.99 each
We were sent the Dora and Alana versions of this doll, and both come with a little pet dog charm and clothes and shoes that can be mixed and matched with each other. They are lovely dolls, with very soft hair and easily pose-able limbs. They are pretty but have realistic body shapes and proportions compared to other some other fashion dolls that you can buy. They are made by Fisher Price and quality of these dolls is really good.
This item is our favourite from those that we’ve tried from the Dora & Friends range. It is great for the 3+ age range which is it recommended for.
Magic Charms Bracelet RRP 9.99
This bracelet comes with charms featuring each of Dora’s friends from the show, along with other little trinkets to add as charms, and you can add charms that you collect from other Dora toys, to mix and match
Dora Magic Adventure Charms RRP 7.99
As mentioned, you can mix and match the charms from other toys, like these small figures that come with extra charms to wear and share. This is the Naiya Magic adventure charms pack which comes with a cute little turtle, butterfly and telescope charm. This charms range of toys is very girly and will be a hit with little girls who love to dress up and accessorise, from age 3+ (no younger due to the small parts)
Dora Smartphone RRP 9.99
The Dora smartphone is a great option for the younger Dora & Friends fans, suitable from age 2+.
The phone comes with sounds and lights, featuring Dora’s voice from the show. It uses English and Spanish words, helping young children to pick up phrases in both languages. It is sturdy and well made, and has holographic pictures of the characters on the screen, moving between a picture of Dora with the phone key pad, and Dora with all of her friends.
There is also a Dora Diving Mermaid doll available for RRP 9.99 which comes with a sea shell that opens up.
