R has been trying out the new GetGo® Űgo Owl Play Tent and we have one to offer for a lucky reader too! This is a lovely play tent with a really cute owl design, and the new twist design to open and close the tent is pretty genius! It is definitely the easiest play tent to open and close that I have come across, which makes it so quick and easy to get out and play with, with the minimum possible fuss.

Getgo® Űgo Owl Play Tent

To close, you just twist the mechanism at the top and the entire tent twists into itself, flattening down to make it easy to store away – and to open it is just the opposite. You can easily do it one handed, and it takes about 10 seconds to put up or down, so it’s ideal for busy lifestyles.

Getgo® Űgo Owl Play Tent The tent is great for little ones to sit in for some down time, reading a book, doing some colouring, or getting some shade outdoors.

Getgo® Űgo Owl Play Tent It is quite a small play tent, so suitable from 18 months and up wards. I would say it would suit until around 4 or 5 years, although is best suited to the younger ones. R is 3 years old and still enjoys sitting inside the tent, as do some of his little friends when they come round.

  9. I kinda think this looks a little bit like a penguin- which is a hit with me coz I love both owls and penguins!
The twist design is really clever- more wrestling with unwieldy poles or pop ups. I’m guessing it’s super-portable too, so it could easily get toted to the park/beach/garden/granny’s house.
I think it’d make a cosy reading space for my little one 🙂 thanks

  10. I’m very biased, I love this design because I collect Owls and have been obsessed with them since I was a kid. Lovely unusual design, lovely colours.

  11. I had a yellow out door wendy house with a red roof & to this day I can remember how much I loved it. This looks compact enough to have in doors on rainy days.

  12. It looks absolutely gorgeous! I loved ‘wendy houses’ and tents as a child but they were not as swish as this one! I love the fact that it;s so easy to fold away… one of the things I dislike is loads of poles and things that have to be put together and taken apart again, so this looks ace!

  13. I think it’s gorgeous! I think the way that it packs down so easily with just a twist, I’ve always avoided pop up things like this as I dread having to wrestle it to the ground and into the cupboard under the stairs

  16. The twist design, like you say, is pretty ingenious, the ‘fun’ we’ve had in the past trying to figure these things out has been silly!

  17. I love the way it can be put up and down, previous children’s tents we have had became bent out of shape very quickly when trying to manually fold them away

  24. I got Ari a baby bouncer. It has owls printed on it. She stares at them and talks to them. An owl tent would be the perfect design for her.

  25. Very cute – my little one would love it. Great that it’s easy to put up and take down. We had a play tent for my older daughter that was rarely used as it was such a pain to get out and put away.
