During Summer you can’t beat relaxing with a nice cold drink. I’ve been trying the new Appletiser Apple and Blackcurrant in some simple mocktail recipes to create some delicious and really refreshing drinks.
Each of the recipes only needs a few ingredients and is ready in a couple of minutes. My friend and I tried them out while relaxing in the garden, letting the kids play and I can definitely see myself making these again throughout the summer. They are a great non alcoholic choice for family parties, barbecues or any summer gatherings. The new Appletiser Apple and Blackcurrant flavour also tastes good on it’s on, but mixing into a mocktail makes it feel a bit more special.
So here are the recipes… enjoy!
Mockito
Ingredients
- 5 fresh mint leaves
- 12.5 sugar syrup
- 10ml lime juice
- 80ml Appletiser Apple and Blackcurrant
- Crushed ice
Recipe
Serves 1:
- Press 4 mint leaves with 12.5ml sugar syrup and 10ml lime juice
- Add crushed ice and top with 80ml Appletiser Apple and Blackcurrant
- Garnish with a mint leaf
For a larger quantity:
- 20 fresh mint leaves
- 50ml sugar syrup
- 40ml lime juice
- 600ml AppletiserApple and Blackcurrant
- Ice cubes
- Press 19 mint leaves with 50ml sugar syrup and 40ml lime juice
- Top with 600ml AppletiserApple and Blackcurrant
- Garnish with a mint leaf
Lychee Cooler
Ingredients
- 40ml lychee juice
- 10ml lime juice
- 50ml AppletiserApple and Blackcurrant
- Ice cubes
Recipe
Serves 1:
- Add 40ml lychee juice, 10ml lime juice and 50ml AppletiserApple and Blackcurrant
- Garnish with a lime wedge
For a larger quantity:
- 300ml lychee juice
- 50ml lime juice
- 350ml AppletiserApple and Blackcurrant
- Ice cubes
- Add 300ml lychee juice, 50ml lime juice and 350ml AppletiserApple and Blackcurrant
- Garnish with a lime wedge
