If you live in an area with the 11+ system then you may be looking for books and practice tests to help your child prepare. I’ve always found Letts educational books and revision guides to be great quality and their 11+ resources are no different.
The range includes practice test papers for English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning, and there are also practice books available for younger children who are getting started with their 11+ preparation

We were sent the Verbal Reasoning practice book which contains 4 complete multiple choice test papers plus answers and explanations. This is a good way to get your child used to the format of the test that they will be taking, and get in some practice with the style of questions, since they can be quite different to typical school work or assessments that they may do during primary school (particularly for the verbal and non verbal reasoning tests)
Each question is explained clearly, and there are plenty contained in each book to give your child enough variety and practice.

Here are a couple of example questions to give you an idea:
If A=1, B=2 , C=4, D=10, E=8
the answer to this sum, written as a letter is
B x C + B = ?
Answer: D
AB is to CD as MN is to ?
Answer: OP
The format of the questions seems very similar to when I did these tests as a child, and if your child enjoys mental puzzles then they are actually quite fun to complete.
