  1. Spirograph is a classic game and I used to have this set when I was younger. I like how they have slightly changed the design and put the 3d element into it to keep up with the times.

  2. Myself & my Brother has a spirograph every year when we were little, that was in the 70’s! I loved it & was found laying down on the living room floor busy with my spirograph Christmas Morning

  3. I think they are wonderful and encourage creativity as well as develop hand-eye coordination! I had a set when I was little and I loved it! I remember having a set of coloured biros so I could create lots of colourful designs!

  6. I don’t think I had a Spirograph of my own as a child, but I did play with some. However, I just got a regular set as an early Christmas gift today! I can’t wait to try it out.

  11. I’m excited for the new version of this classic activity. I played with my so long the first time that I got a headache that lasted 3 days …. After that my mom limited my time with mine. She had to his it from me …. LOL

  12. I never had my own, may have used my sisters but never really got the hang of it. This looks lovely though, bright, creative, fun – my kids would really get a thrill from it and I’m sure I would too!

  13. I did have a spirograph as a child but struggled to find pens that would fit through the holes when the pens that came with the set were used up.

    I had many a happy hour playing with this that I’m thinking of buying this as a gift for a friend’s daughter.

  15. i remember spirograph been huge when i was little.it always seemed to have loads in there and me and 2 of my older brothers would play for hours and make loads of brill pictures and we would so love colouring them in with our smelly feltips.

  16. I had a something similar to a spirograph when i was younger but the technology now has made it a whole lot better , I think they are fab and will keep the children entertained for hours, would even have a play myself 🙂

  18. I had a Spirograph as child in the 1960’s and loved it ! I think the 3d glasses are great idea and i know my Grandson would love this as he loves drawing , takes after his Nan ! x This is making me feel old lol !

  21. Yes I had a Spirograph 🙂 It was blue with red inserts if I remember rightly, I got it for my birthday and I remember sneaking it into my bedroom and making designs past bedtime!

  24. I used to love this when I was younger!! All I used to do was draw and colour so this was perfect. Not surprised its still around! I’ve yet to see Blow pens anywhere recently though.. those were another favourite 🙂

  25. I totally loved this when I was a kid, I wasn’t any good at Art so this gave me a way to be creative. I’d really enjoy discovering what it’s all capable of doing now. Dxx

  33. I loved my spirograph. Apart from constantly spilling the little red pins and having to pick them up. I always managed to stand on one. Ouch!

  36. My sister had one of these I had a younger paint version where aint was dripped on to moving vard all turned out very pollock BUT I did play with spirograph when sister wasnt looking I think it’s up there with etch a sketch utterly timeless and still going strong.

  46. Yeah I had it as a child, and I had a different version about 15 years ago, like a pendulum version. This one looks pretty cool, we already have 3d pens but the kids can’t quite get the hang of them. Maybe this would help them to understand how to layer them to get the right effect.
