Welcome to the last segment of our Play Ideas Series with #100daysofplay. We’ve covered role play, active play, sensory play, and arts and crafts. Now we are moving on to construction play.

Construction play is any kind of play where children manipulate materials to make one thing out of another, or any set of things. Most types of construction play are great for developing fine motor skills, allowing children to practise manipulating small objects in a fun way. This play also gives an outlet for creativity, and gives children a sense of pride when they see all the cool things that they have created!

Over 20 ideas for construction play - ways to play, and materials to use. So many fun things to build with!
