Science experiments for kids are a great way to add some variety into your play and to introduce lots of concepts and topics in a fun and playful way.

Kids are naturally curious people and if you give them the opportunity to explore the world they will. Science experiments for kids are a great way to encourage creativity and curiosity in your children. They’re perfect for playtime as well as teaching your kids some of the basics of science, like how water boils or why we need oxygen.

Science is the way of answering so many of the burning questions that curious children have about how our world works. 

Today I’m featuring 10 awesome science experiments for kids from Preschool Powol Packets. This is just a small selection of the ideas on their site, and what I love about these experiments is that they are easy and approachable, science experiments that you can realistically try at home with your preschooler.

Whether or not Science was your best subject at school, these activities are very do-able and not intimidating, and they are so much fun!
