The Singing Kettle is a children’s show that has developed from a small show touring schools and playgroups in 1993 into a well known show touring venues all around the country and even the world. They have performed in the Palladium in London and the Royal Palace in Jordan!

The show is a musical suitable for the whole family, which does of course incorporate their colourful kettles, along with imaginative storylines and songs. The customary coloured Kettles give all the clues to favourite songs like “Leap Frog”, “Do Your Ears Hang Low”, and “Bear Hunt” and lots, lots more. Roars of laughter and fun-filled surprises along the way will captivate and enthrall the whole family.

You can watch a trailer of the show here to get an idea of what to expect. As you can see in the video there are plenty of opportunities for children to join in with singing and actions to the songs.

The show is currently touring with 51 dates planned. You can see all of the tour date here

The Singing Kettle originated in Scotland, and if you chose to go up to see the show in Scotland why not make it into a  short break to make some extra special memories with the kids?

The Singing Kettle is showing at Sat 30th Aug at 1:00pm / 3:30pm at Eastwood Park Theatre in Glasgow and if you choose to see the show there, you can stay at a nearby hotel like the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport hotel

All young children seem to love singing and bright colourful entertainment so I’m sure it would be a hit with most pre-school children!
