I’ve written before about how I would love to go to Florida, we still don’t have any concrete plans yet but that does not stop me researching and reading all about it! There’s lots of great information around, especially about preparing for a trip to Disneyland. It’s an expensive trip so it’s important to plan so that you can get the most out of it.

If you’re taking the kids to swim with dolphins during your visit to Florida why not try these dolphin activities to help develop their interest in these beautiful friendly creatures! I would love to visit Discovery Cove to do this, it’s such an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity. The sister parks: Sea World, Aquatica, Bush Gardens Tampa and Adventure Island would also definitely be worth a visit.
We’d also love to visit Legoland Florida, as we love the Legoland Windsor so much. Universal Studios or Universal Islands of Adventure would also be a must. We’ve visited Universal Studios in LA before which was a great and fun day out. I’d love to take the kids to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Islands of Adventure in a couple of years once they are a little older to get the most out of it.

Take lots of toilet rolls and personal paper product and female sanitary bits as they are very very expensive compared to ours.
Also carry an extra plastic cup in your bag because they will only give you one paper cup per drink in Disney, (they count them!) and then you can buy a large drink a share it!

I second Tracey with the english tea bags – buying those from Walmart costs a fortune! And if you are tea drinker then you should pack a travel kettle too because most hotels have a coffee maker.
We’re heading back out to Florida in November and I’m excited to be visiting Legoland for the first time, and taking the kiddos to Discovery Cove!

If your kids are particularly fussy with certain english foods, you should def try and take these where possible (obviously pending what customs allow!)…in our case it was Ribena…they had no alternative over there so we had to fork out silly money for actual Ribena in the England Aisle of the supermarket!
We loved our holiday of a lifetime there, in Disneyworld there are plenty of water points, so if you take bottles of water with you in there, you can fill them up as needed.
