Canvas Design Review & Giveaway

A few months ago my sister moved away from London to Bristol for work. Those of you who read my blog regularly might know that we are twins and she used to stay over at my house every week. I was offered the chance to try a canvas from canvasdesigns.co.uk and since she was going away and getting a new flat, I thought it would be best to choose something for her to take to her new place to help bring some personality and liven up the bare wales. Plain white can be so lonely and uninviting and a personalised canvas is such an easy way to inject some personality into a new home, especially while renting as you have such limited options to modify the property.

I asked her to send me a few different pictures and then I chose one to put on the canvas. I went for this picture of boats on a lake which she had taken when she used to live in Austria a few years back.

This is an 18 x 14 inch canvas, which is big enough to make a feature on her wall. When ordering a canvas of this size you need to use an image of 500kb or more to make sure its high enough resolution and good enough quality to create a good quality canvas print. My sister’s canvas came out great and very true to the photograph. The canvas came fairly quickly after sending the photograph and we were pleased with the service from Canvas Design.

  27. There’s a very old B&W photo of me as a baby sitting on my Taid’s (Welsh Grandfather’s) knee & playing with his pocket watch. He was 70 & I was the 1st grandchild. He died before I could really get to know him and the picture isn’t a terribly good one, it’s just a little intimate glimpse of a man I would dearly loved to have known.
