Mr Z was sent a Subbuteo game to try out, which is great for him as he is getting into football at the moment. The penalty shoot out game comes with a goal and goal keeper, plus one football player and ball. It’s played by two players and is really simple to understand how to play.

You need to assemble the goal and net, which just takes a minute or so and then you are ready to go. The whole set is pretty small so Mr Z can keep it on his shelf when not in use.

It’s a classic game, Mr Z’s dad remembers playing Subbuteo as a child too! Mr Z really enjoyed the game. His favourite was being the goalie. We did penalty shoot outs for best of 10 and somehow Mr Z managed to beat me!

  1. My Brother used to play Subbuteo when we were children, at least 20 years ago! Amazing that a game like that is still going 🙂 I’d love the Subbuteo game so we could reminisce! x
