It’s my 1 year blogoversary today! So it’s perfect timing that I am bringing you the first of a few worldwide giveaways. Today the prize is from Klik Klak Blocks. Klik Klak Blocks are a Latvian company making beautiful natural wooden blocks which are perfect for little ones to play with.

There is a great selection of natural wood blocks and wood craft supplies over at their Etsy Shop. All the products look gorgeous so do have a look!

Today’s prize is a set of 12 personalised wood blocks which can be made with a name, or with any letters and numbers of your choice. A heart design is also available.

klikklak2The blocks are handmade, from Baltic birch and natural beeswax and were inspired by the company owners son Valters who was 2 years old at the time. They wanted him to have the best quality wooden blocks which are safe, non-toxic and free from artificial colors, just like they had in their own childhood, and so came up with Klik Klak blocks!

The competition is open worldwide, with the exception of Australia purely because of the government restrictions on shipping wood products into Australia. Apologies to any Australian readers!

As I mentioned at the start of the post, my blog is one year old today! Thanks so much to all the readers who have stopped by over the last year, for all the lovely comments you have left either here on the blog or on my Facebook or Twitter and for taking the time to visit my blog. I’m looking forward to see what the next year brings with the blog, hopefully I will make it even bigger and better. Do let me know if there is anything you would like to see more of or less of. You can leave me your feedback in the comments and I’m happy to take that on board! 🙂

If you have enjoyed the blog in it’s first year and would like to show your support, feel free to nominate In The Playroom for a MAD blog award in any category you think fits (maybe best new blog? 😉 ) Anyone can vote, you don’t have to be a blogger yourself!

  13. I adore the simple aesthetic of the cubes, I choose unfinished over painted over every time. The front of the stamp remind me a bit of over-sized typewriter keys. I like quotes and sayings, and would put these little guys on my bookshelves. Shh, I’m Reading.
