Heroes of the City is a new TV series for Preschoolers, originating in Sweden. It’s first season sold to more than 180 countries and the second season is now going strong!

The show tells the stories of Paulie Police Car, Fiona Fire Engine and many more of their friends in the city, including Calamity Crow the accident prone bird. You can watch episodes on your phone or tablet via the new movie Apps, and play games too. Each app is 14 mins long which is an ideal length to hold younger viewer’s attention.

The Heroes of the City App aimed at children from 2-6 is perfect for all of my boys at age 2, 4 and 5 and they have all been enjoying it. Mr T and Mr R loved watching the episodes the most, and Mr Z likes the games. This app kept them busy for quite a while, and I was impressed how quickly it engaged them as they had not been familiar with these characters before. They do love vehicles and Heroes of the City is just the kind of thing they enjoying watching.

The games are not too difficult, so they are manageable for children age 2 or 3+ and children have the chance to win trophies as they pass levels. Some of the games include, making a track for the train, putting out fires, puzzles and memory games and more!
