Mr R was recently sent some lovely Monkey themed rain wear to review from Lovably Me. We have been really happy with the products as they are both practical and cute. Mr R loves the monkeys on his clothes and points to them and grins and giggles!
Mr R was sent a monkey raincoat, wellies and umbrella, and there are also matching backpacks, lunch boxes and water bottles available in the same design.
I love the bright bold look of the monkey rain wear and the fact that it is not one of the same designs that you see on every other child, it is a bit more different and unique as it has not come from a high street shop. The coat has a design on the front and on the back and it is fully lined so it is quite warm for a rain coat. Mr R seems to be very comfy and happy in it. The rainwear is from an American designer Stephen Joseph and Mr R’s coat is in size 2T. This is written as upto 86cm but I feel it is quite generous and does fit him well at 2.4 years and should definitely last him through the winter.
The wellies are also a good quality and work well keeping Mr R’s feet nice and dry in wet conditions. He even tested them out in the snow recently during our visit to The Snow Centre and they served him well!
The umbrella is very cute in a nice small size ideal for little ones to manage. It goes up and down easily enough and has a strong and sturdy feel to it, not like an umbrella which will blow inside out at the first hint of a windy day! This seems as though it would last Mr R well.

I love matching stuff for kids and it’s nice that it’s not a character from a cartoon or tv programme for a change (or is it ?)

Oh gosh, these are SO cute. D is totally in to characters now but when he was younger, monkeys were a total hit – this would have been a great find!
