Our Bloggers Night In

bloggers night inA couple of weeks ago, a group of 10 of us got together for our very first Bloggers Night In. This took place in Lichfield in Eileen’s (Et Speaks From Home) House. All of us talk on Facebook a lot and support each other with our blogs. This is the great thing about the blogging community, from all over the country we have developed some great friendships! Some of us had met each other before, but we never had a gathering on mass so we were all really looking forward to it.

We also had a couple of missing friends:

Eileen was a perfect hostess and made us all very welcome, and we had lots of snacks and drinks to enjoy. A lot of it was kindly donated to us by some companies who wanted to support our event, so thanks to them! Perhaps we also should have got some name badges as I managed to mix up a couple of the girls I had not met before and enthusiastically greeted Angela by saying “Hi, you must be Tina!”

Throughout the evening we had a lot of fun and laughs, we all chatted til about 2am when we finally went to sleep. We also organised a secret santa which was fun, and thanks to Pippa for my present! Here’s our Secret Santa tree decorated by Eileen.

bloggersnightintreeFor our meal, we were all really happy to find out that Dominos had offered to send us over some pizzas to enjoy. I love Dominos and have often ordered it myself for nights in.

I had never tried the chocolate dough balls from Dominos though, so this was the first time and they were so nice! If you are ordering I would recommend you to get some to have after your pizza!

dominoschocIn the morning we also had a treat lined up as we all went to Frankie and Bennys for breakfast. I had never been to Frankie and Bennys before but it was an ideal place to go for breakfast with plenty of space for all of us to sit, and breakfasts are only £5 each and you can get unlimited tea or coffee for £1.75 per person which seems like great value to me. I really needed the unlimited coffee after sleeping late and getting up early!

It was a great weekend and hopefully we will repeat it again in the future. We do have another meet up planned for Britmums as most of us will be attending that in the summer!

These bloggers are all a lovely group of ladies. If you haven’t been to all of the blogs before, do pop across and have a look and follow them!

  1. aww thats so lovely you all got to meet up! We’re quite lucky in Bristol that there seems to be quite a few blogger meet ups. It’s always so nice to put a face to someone you have been chatting to over the internet! x

  2. Looks like you had an amazing time! It’s great to meet up with online friends sometimes but I can’t imagine how awesome it must be to be a massive group of bloggers all in the same room!
