  1. My granddaughter and I make a gingerbread house every year..and no one ever eats it..LOL..but we have fun making it as it is a tradition for us..LOL.

  2. We take our time opening the presents and all watch each other open theirs, my partner’s eldest daughter has been in charge of passing out the presents since she was 6, she’s now 20!

  3. Our traditions started last year as it was our first family Christmas one of santa’s elves comes and leaves a box with some PJ’s and a book in ready for when we get out the bath and into bed. xx

  4. We make decorations for our tree every year. this year it was paper snow flakes and stainglassed windows (black card and tissue paper)

  5. Its my daughter’s first christmas so we have introduced her to mine and my husbands traditions of buying a new tree decoration every year and each of us having our own snowstorms

  6. xmas eve we all get new pj’s for santa coming, then xmas eve we open one gift from under the tree, xmas day we all have our breakfast in the kitchen before going into the sitting room and screaming merry xmas x

  7. We don’t have any traditions as yet as my son is too young, but as an adult I always decorate a Christmas cake with penguins, every year is a different scene – but always penguins and I have no idea what started it off!!!

  8. We do our best to make time to create some home made Christmas cards, decorations and some baking. Children enjoy the activities. Whilst everyone seems to value and praise their efforts.
