As one of the Kids One Stop Shopper bloggers, recently we were sent a Tall Tape to review. I chose the tree design shown above as I love the style of this illustration but there are other varieties available: Plain blue, pink or white, or another illustrated design with animals.
Each tall tape comes tightly rolled up into a small tube and is very compact. It then opens out into a long a wide tape measure that goes all the way up to 2 meters. I found it much better than paper height charts which you can get to go on the wall, as it is made of a similar material to normal tape measures so it seems quite a bit tougher and not likely to rip or tear, which is important as this is a keepsake that you would want to last to keep your memories safe!
The tall tape can be used either on the floor or on the wall, so you can use it to measure length from birth onwards and continue to use it as they grow over the years. Mr Z insisted on measuring my height too so it is definitely suitable for the whole family from newborn to grown up!
Each tall tape comes with a permanent marker so you can record the heights as the children grow. You can also buy a pack of 4 different coloured markers separately if you want colour code for each child, which would be a good idea. The boys enjoyed looking at how tall they are and marking it off on the chart. You can see the height both in cm and inches, so it caters for whichever you prefer.
The Tall Tape is a great idea and would be a lovely little gift to a newborn so that parents can keep their measurements right from the start, or as it is so compact it would be a handy extra stocking filler too. The illustrated tall tapes will look especially good on the wall of children’s bedrooms or playrooms.
If you would like the chance to win a tall tape for yourself (your choice of design) then enter via the Rafflecopter below. Kids One Stop Shop have provided FIVE tall tapes for my readers to win! Or you can buy them directly from their website for £9.99 each.
