Magic Mitten is a brand new baby calming aid to help soothe your crying baby with the help of special sounds including mother’s heartbeat, ocean waves and rain on a tin roof.
The patented Magic Mitten is the first ever hand held baby calming aid that plays settling white noise sounds that only your baby can hear. The specially designed sounds have a swiftly calming effect that will soothe your baby whenever it’s distressed. Even babies with colic are gently soothed into a calm state, removing a stressful burden from sleep deprived mums and dads.
The clever design allows you to securely and easily hold your baby while holding the Magic Mitten to your baby’s ear so it can be used by anyone, at any time, at home or out and about. Simply pop it in your baby bag wherever you and baby go.

9 months, ive tried everything!! she used to sleep 9pm-6.30am until she was 6months old and as soon as she hit 6months she suddenly started waking up every hour. shes been weaned since 4months as she refused baby milk and food has increased accordingly as she grew, im at my wits end, im also 7months pregnant aswel so im doubly stressed about it, god help me if she doesnt settle by the time this ones born 🙁
10 months, the pram works great, he loves the rocking motion – but it’s a work in progress!
17 months and still its pretty much on breastmilk that works!!
My stepdaughter’s little girl is just 3 days old, and at the moment, she’s just going with the flow, but this would be great for helping her sleep and get into a routine
My baby is 10 months and an absolute dream! I get him to sleep with a regular bedtime routine, lavendar bubble bath and lots of cuddles 🙂
22 months, and the bottle usually works.
I childmind my niece, who is 4 months. I swaddle her to help get her to sleep.
0- I’m not due until December!
i’m due in March
21 months, both of my children have had a dummy to help them settle,
He’ll be 3 years old in November and I’ve tried … warm milk, reading him stories, spoken word stories, quiet cuddle, warm bath at bedtime, no toys, no TV, no video games/stimulants, nursery rhymes and, I’m ashamed to say, I’ve even tried bribing him!
My baby’s not here yet – due next Spring – and already lack of sleep is my biggest worry!!!
not here yet
10 months. Tried all sorts.
9 months. Since teething started sleep has become a problem. We keep waking up in the night 🙁
The youngest in the family is one month. Just trying to ensure some sort of routinue to differentiate day from night. Though think this would be easier in the summer weather, As would be able to go outside in the fresh air with baby in day clothing more often, and for longer.
Though have tried to allow night-time to come as it does gradually :- avoid using bright lights (have dimmers, use as little as is possible). Also try to be aware of noise, and ensure some common sense :- by avoiding loud and /or sudden noises. As well as using soft reassuring noises e.g. telling a nursery rhyme etc at bedtime. So that little one with a bit of luck will associate this with settling to sleep. Maybe get parents into routinue for story telling when she is older.
Early days so unsure how things will turn out. Hopefully all of us will get enough rest, exercise and sleep.
My little one is 13 weeks & more or less its just a case of trying everything to see what suits him x
My ‘baby’ is 19 months! But number 2 is on the way next spring (inshaallah) and I could do with all the tools I can get as my daughter wasn’t the best at settling and I used to breastfeed to sleep and at any cry having to juggle two I’d like for my husband to be able to settle the baby to sleep so maybe the Magic Mitten is the key.
oooh congrats!!!!!! so excited for you!! masha allah 😀 yay!!
Rocking usually works, although my arms feel it!
my daughters baby is due in feb these mitts look so good i had to try and win one because if her baby is anything like her she will have a hard job. my daughter wanted to be fed ever 2 hours and wouldnt lt me put her down, she wanted me to hold her all the time or she cried
My friends baby boy is due in January and she says she’ll need all the help she can as she is dreading the sleepless nights!
Any thing that helps sleep is good.
My niece is 3 months old. The only thing that gets her to sleep is walking up and down bouncing her very gently.
My baby is not born yet, but I have been thinking about some sort of soothing sounds machine for when it is born – I am sure we will need all the help we can get!
My son is 8 months old and I have tried swaddling, cuddling, rocking to sleep, a vibrating baby chair, bouncing. Swaddling has been the most effective.
6 months and lots of rocking
I use to swaddle both my children,My friend has trouble settling her baby boy she has tried everything and having no end of sleepless nights,She has 3 other children so thought she might have been a pro 😉

20 months and a dummy!!
12 weeks, a dummy
My baby is 23 months, a dummy and lots of milk
My baby is 7 weeks old mA, she’s not a very good sleeper so we’ve tried quite a lot of things. I’ve tried giving her a bath before bedtime, singing, rocking and feeding her to sleep but whats working at the moment is lying her on her tummy on my lap and rubbing her back, that does the trick but I’d rather have an easier method like the magic mitten!
My baby is still growing inside, due feb.
18 months and pregnant with my second <3
3 months, rocking
6 months and walks work great
6 months – singing lullabies
19 weeks. tried allsorts, sadly she is barely sleeping at all at the moment. think she is having a clingy phase. she likes me singing to her but that doesnt tend to make her sleep it just makes her laugh!
I’d use this with baby 2 – Dexter sleeps well so I figure we can’t possibly get that lucky twice! x
hes 1 and we tried controlled crying 🙁
7 weeks, I swaddle her keeps her asleep longer than if she’s not swaddled. Also used ewan the dream sheep with my 2 year old.
My baby is 6 months old. I’m very against “cry it out” or “controlled crying” so to get her to sleep I rock her, stroke her hair, breastfeed her or push her in the pushchair. There’s also a “twinkle twinkle little star” lullaby I found on YouTube that can sometimes send her off 🙂
i’m currently 20 weeks pregnant and haven’t tried some thing like this with my first 2 children so it would be great to give it a go
14 mths – we watch cartoons in bed
nearly 12 months. I give my little one a bath and have lots of cuddles and read a book before bedtime. He has been waking us up in the middle of the night lately for no reason in particular and does end up in our bed as won’t settle
Have a bath and read a story with the fairy lights on. I try to keep a relaxed tone and atmosphere in the bedroom so the children settle down
21 months a bath, watches in the night garden has mummy cuddles and goes to sleep with a dummy and his bubby
8 months. We read a story and then sing some lullabys
17months love to sing to my little man .x
18 mths and she likes to sleep in the pram while we are out walking
7 months and she sleeps well at night but during the day it’s a constant battle. We’ve tried feeding, rocking in the buggy, dream sheep, mobile, light show, lullabies…..
12 month, rocking in puchcahir, walking round the room, soothing music
Rocking in a pushchair
1 and I always sing
8 weeks old!! Walking in pushchair & driving usually works, so do cuddles
My babies are all older now but my friend just had her first baby, she’s 3 months old and doesn’t seem to want to settle unless she’s on Mum’s shoulder!
I am trying for my first baby, so i am trying to get as much ready as possible – every little helps
