  1. I love the darker evenings when I can close the curtains and put on my lamps and fairy lights. I love wearing cosy clothes too and walking the dog on those bright but cold Autumnal mornings. Autumn is my favourite season – I hate the Summer and am so glad the heat wave is over! I hate the heat!

  2. I love the cooler weather as I have massive problems sleeping during the summer. I also love the colours of the leaves on the trees and the darker nights – it feels unnatural to me when its light until 10pm in the summer ;o)

  4. The change in everything, things seem to seem warmer despite the worsening weather, e.g. nights in, in front of the fire, hot chocolate and bright orange and red leaves!

  9. I love all the smells and sounds – crunching on bright leaves, fireworks and bonfires, hot chocolate with marshmallows and my girls giggling as they squelch through muddy puddles.

  12. I love the darker evenings, when you can shut the curtains and snuggle up on the sofa in your jim jams and under a fluffy warm blanket, with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book! I love the changing colours of the trees and going for walks with our little girl, kicking the fallen leaves and having leaf fights!
