Some of you may remember, I shared with you about a Kickstarter campaign recently, Pyjama Pajama and I am pleased to let you know that they have managed to reach their target so are going into full production.
Now I have another Kickstarter project to share with you all, and I really hope they reach the same success. This project for is Looksi Pups a new interactive 3D virtual pet! Looksi Pups are combining the idea of interactive app based activities which so many children love these days (my 5 year old loves his tablet!) with a solid physical toy.
Looksi Pups works by placing the phone into the special kennel, then with some clever use of mirrors the pet is projected down into 3D. It reacts to voice and the child can give it commands and play games. It seems like quite an interesting concept. It is funny to think how far technology has come since the Tamogotchi’s that we used to play with when we were little!

The kennel comes in Pink or a limited edition Green. If all goes well there will be plans to make further designs, like a crate for a pet dinosaur, or a cop car for racing games. I love the sound of these!
You can start to invest from just £1 and every investment amount comes with different rewards which you can see on the Kickstarter page. If you have more money to invest there are some very cool ones like making your own dog into the virtual pet!
